Is a spring assisted knife a switchblade?
No. A spring assisted knife needs you to start the opening with a flipper or thumb stud; a switchblade opens by a button alone. Laws treat them differently, and they vary by place — check yours.
Are your knives legal to carry?
Knife laws depend on your state, city and venue. Many of our small folders have blades under 3" and no spring, which is the most widely accepted size. Please check local rules.
Do your knives come sharp?
Yes, every knife and tool ships sharpened. Trainers and the wooden katana are unsharpened by design.
Can I sharpen 440C myself?
Yes. A medium and a fine whetstone at about 20 degrees is all you need.
How does engraving work?
You add a name, date, message or icon when you order a personalized item and see a preview before you confirm.
Who are your knives for?
Our knives are for adults. Trainers are for teens and adults; younger users should have an adult with them.
